The Okuhida Mountain Bus, which began operation in 2025 and was named by local elementary school students, will operate for the second year in 2026 during the new green season.
This time, the tour will be held for three weeks from Friday, May 22nd to Friday, June 12th, when the fresh greenery of Oku-Hida is at its most beautiful. From an open-top bus, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the dynamic scenery that changes from fresh greenery to lingering snow as the altitude increases.
On the outbound "Shinryoku Letter Service," everyone will receive "Shinryoku Super Grass," which makes the colors of the fresh greenery appear even more vivid. At the summit of Shinhotaka Ropeway, you can mail an original postcard with a limited edition stamp. On the return "Iyashi no Yu no Michi Service," you can also enjoy a relaxing experience immersed in the sounds and scents of nature with an eye mask. With a bus guide from Hoshino Resorts "Kai Oku-Hida" staff, you will experience "BUSVENTURE" that goes beyond just transportation.
