The Hirayu Onsen area is home to famous Hirayu Otaki Grand Waterfall, which is listed as one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls. In winter, this huge waterfall, measuring 64 m in height and 6 m in width, is frozen by the harsh cold of winter, creating a truly magnificent scene.
