Access by train from Tokyo

Please use the following trains for a quick and comfortable journey from Tokyo to Okuhida-Onsengo.

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Toyama.
Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano.
Take the JR Chuo-Line from Tokyo (or Shinjuku) to Matsumoto.

From Tokyo station, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Toyama station.
At Toyama station, take the "Okuhida-Onsengo Toyama express bus service (Nohi-Bus, Toyama-Chitetsu : reservation required in some cases)" to Okuhida-Onsengo.

Route via Nagano station taking Hokuriku Shinkansen.

From Tokyo station, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Nagano station.
At Nagano station, take the JR Shinonoi line to Matsumoto station.
At Matsumoto station, take the Takayama, Shinhotaka, Hirayu-onsen ,Matsumoto line bus service (Nohi-bus or Alpico-Kotsu : no reservation required) to Okuhida-Onsengo.

Route via Matsumoto station takeing JR Chuo line.

From Shinjuku station, take the JR Chuo line ansen to Matsumoto station.

Access by train from Nagoya.

From Nagoya station, take the "Wide-View Hida" on the Takayama Line (JR Tokai).
Get off at Hida Takayama station.
From Hida Takayama station, take the Nohi Bus service to Okuhida-Onsengo.

Access by train from Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe)

Please use the following trains for a quick and comfortable journey from Kansai to Okuhida-Onsengo.

Take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Osaka (or Kyoto, Kobe) to Nagoya.
Take the JR Hokuriku line to Kanazawa, and change to the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Toyama.

From Shin-Osaka station, take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Nagano station.
At Nagoya station, change to the “Wide-View Hida” on the Takayama Line (JR Tokai).
Get off at Hida Takayama station.
From Hida Takayama station, take the Nohi Bus service to Okuhida-Onsengo.
