Okuhida Mountain Bus
The "Okuhida Mountain Bus," which began operation in 2025 and was named by local elementary school students, will operate during the fresh green season in 2026, its second year of operation. This time, it will run for three weeks from May 22nd (Fri) to June 12th (Fri), when the fresh greenery of Okuhida is at its most beautiful. From the open-top bus, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the dynamic scenery as it changes from fresh greenery to remaining snow as the altitude increases. On the outbound "Fresh Green Letter" trip, everyone will receive "Fresh Green Super Glasses" that make the colors of the fresh greenery appear even more vibrant. At the summit of the Shinhotaka Ropeway, you can mail an original postcard stamped with a limited-edition stamp. On the return trip, the "Healing Hot Spring Path" trip offers a relaxing experience where you can immerse yourself in the sounds and scents of nature while wearing an eye mask.
